My works attempt to enter unfamiliar spaces. Departing from personal experiences, I explore the play between the known and unknown, seeking to take the viewer somewhere new, foreign and disquieting. My curiosity is driven by the unperceivable, the hidden and the unimaginable: the infinite deepness of the sea, the undiscovered unlimited space, everything that exists and we can’t perceive; what caves hide, what happens at night, or in dreams. From these dark and mysterious corners of life I seek for viewers to feel uncomfortable, trapped, fascinated, entranced and have a revelation.
